Il consiglio comunale tanto atteso del 2 febbraio si risolve in una bolla di sapone, salta per la solita mancanza del numero legale, causata dall’assenza dei 7 dissidenti del Pd. La minoranza non aiuta a raggiungere il numero “necessario” ed il sindaco chiama tutta la stampa nella sua stanza. Lì non fa fatica, assistito dall’assessore Ricci, a ribadire di “non dimettersi per senso di responsabilità nei confronti dei cittadini che mi hanno votato” ed anche “forte del consenso in crescita fatto registrato lo scorso dicembre da un sondaggio del Sole 24 ore”. Poi ripete di “non essere un politico” e di essere disposto solo “a fare un passo indietro con Moderati e Riformisti”. Per il resto “le riunioni a Roma riguardano il Pd, la crisi è del partito, non dell’amministrazione” e e “spera che lo strappo si possa ancora ricucire”. Non si arrende quindi Michelini e sottolinea che “se un giorno si dimetterà lo farà definitivamente, senza annunciarle prima per poi tornare indietro”. Accanto a lui l’assessore Ricci confida che si sarebbe aspettato che “l’opposizione avesse aiutato la maggioranza a raggiungere il numero legale per approvazione del collegio dei revisori, basilare per sbloccare molte situazioni ferme da tempo…”. Il sindaco resta in sella, dunque, senza apparenti titubanze. Prossimo consiglio comunale in prima convocazione il 4 febbraio alle 15, 30, in seconda venerdì 5 alle 16, 30.
