Basta leggere i dialoghi che si svolgono liberamente nella casa Grekov avamposto di un coraggioso manipolo di patrioti sotto il tiro dell’artiglieria pesante tedesca.

E l’autore ci dice che, nonostante tutto, il nostro destino è irripetibile e nelle nostre mani. Possiamo scegliere anche se ogni scelta comporta sempre un prezzo e un rischio. Possiamo scegliere anche di non votare Sala se proprio non ci piace, in fondo Stalin è morto e si rischia poco. E queste sono scelte che farebbero ridere qualunque carrista intorno a Stalingrado.
